Hi, I'm still having trouble with PAL 60. When I set it up I get several black lines towards the top of the screen. Later lines have corruption as well. The location of the black lines is repeatable between power cycles.
Looking at the signal there is a vertical sync inserted on every other field, 20ms after the previous vsync happened (this doesn't seem like a coincidence to me).
Before you get me to check the generated sync timings I know this is not the issue. Using the same setup NTSC 443 is perfect, the configuration is nearly identical and I've narrowed the problem down to one register: 0x80. I write 0x11 for PAL60 and 0x10 for NTSC 443 to set the mode to PAL and NTSC respectively. All other registers except for 0x82 which sets the NTSC pedestal are the same. If I only change the PAL 60 setup to NTSC the problem disappears but then I'm not using PAL. Conversely when I change my NTSC 443 script to set 0x80 to 0x11 (PAL) and nothing else I get the same problem.
Seeing that the datasheet explicitly claims to support PAL 60 someone, somewhere must have a script that will configure it correctly.
