Re: PPI Sample Count

Hi

I m using DSP at 500 MHz and bus clock 125 MHz. So maximum ppi clock is 62,5 MHz.

I connected 50 MHz oscilator to PPICLK pin and sampled data correctly. my flow is capturing data from ppi to memory by DMA0 then memory to memory by MDMA0. It ruraly gives peripheral error but since i disabled interrupt it does not cause any problem. Then changing of sampling frequency was required so i connected one of DSP pwm output (used without int) to PPICLK. I changed sampling frequency around 20 MHzbut it gave peripheral error or hardware error frequently. The root cause may be wrong configuration or data flow, but i just would like to be sure the mininum sampling rate of PPI under above conditions. is it possible to use 1 MHz,i.e.?

For sample count, yes i need more than 65535 sample even up to 500000. I think, using different frames mean devide sample count with 65535 then load sum into frame register rigth? is it enough? when frame count x ppı_count reaches sample count then DMA DONE will be triggered, is it correct?

best regards,
