Dear community,
I would like to use the AD-FMCADC2-EBZ FMC evaluation board in tandem with a KC705 Kintex board to set up a rapid prototyping environment for an upcoming project in which we are going to use the AD9625.
Unfortunately, at this time only Virtex and Zync evaluation boards seem to be supported. Furthermore, there is virtually no documentation on the purpose, status and usage of the "ad_9625_fmc" test designs provided on the GIT server.
Out of curiosity, I've already tried to setup a Vivado 13.4 installation of the "ad_9625_fmc" project for VC707 (Virtex board) but soon ran into several problems (missing modules, not accepted constraints files, etc.).
Before I dig deeper into this matter, I would be happy to get some feedback from AD or other users on the status of the current and future AD9625 support and the corresponding test designs.
Some additional questions:
- Are the currently provided versions of "ad_9625_fmc" for Zync and Virtex supposed to be working instantly "out-of-the-box" when installed as described in the HDL User Guide, or to they still need heavy editing?
- What are the plans on KC705 Kintex board support? Is it feasible and worthwile the effort to modify the VC707 design accordingly?
- Is the "ad_9625_fmc" similiar to other projects, e.g. FMC_COMM, so that one can use that documentation to get an overview on the ad_9625 stuff?
