Hi,
The FMCOMMS1 transmits and receives raw I and Q samples. The modulation scheme that is used for the payload data that is transmitted is outside of the scope of the FMCOMMS1 and needs to be implemented by the application generating the I and Q samples.
So yes, the FMCOMMS1 supports QAM 1024/4096 and can transmit at QAM 1024/4096 signals if such a signal is fed to it by an application generating such a signal. In the same way it supports any other modulation scheme as well.
