I assume this is a separate project from the audio talkthrough example you were using in your other thread?
The EZ-KIT has a 32Mbit Parallel flash, but only an 8Mbit serial flash, so it isn't impossible that your application is too large for the SPI flash, while it still fits in the parallel flash.
Is it possible for you to provide the application - either on here, or via private support if you prefer not to post your application in public - so that we can take a look, and try to reproduce the behaviour?
