There are descriptions about free-run mode on datasheet as follows:
Page 6.
"Free run output mode providing stable timing when no video input is present"
Page 193.
"9.5 Free Run Mode (CP)
Free Run mode is intended to provide the user with a stable clock and predictable data if the input
signal cannot be decoded, e.g. input video is not present."
So I think when registers are default and input video is not present, ADV7181D will be free-run mode.
Am I wrong?
