Hello,
Not sure what you do mean by "color seperation only is supported for monochrome". Monochrome is luma format with no color information.
If are saying this is mentioned in HRM, please let me know the location as I could not find it.
BTW, if you are pointing to color extraction done at input formatters, then you can refer "PVP -> PVP Function Description -> Input Formatters (IPFx) -> Color Extraction" & "Monochrome Data Reception" section. It mentions (copied as-is)
"
The PVP processes in monochrome data format. However, its data inputs oftenhave to probe color data
streams. Therefore, the IPFs feature a variety of features that allow extraction of certain luminance or chromatic values out of composite colored data streams. These features include:
• Extraction of Y (luma) values out of YCrCb streams
• Extraction of G (green) values out of RGB streams
• Extraction of G (green) values out of Bayer streams
• Extraction of R (red) values out of Bayer streams
The PVP_IPFx_CTL.CFRMTbit field defines what color format isused on the incoming data.
