Re: Amplitude demodulation

Hi All

thanks to Joel who helped for AM demodulation, much appreciated.

While I solved the demodulation of my 1.1 GHz carrier, I need now to generate 8 carriers , spaced of 100 MHz from each other, to be "AM modulated" . My modulating signals are 5 to 10 MHz basic frequency with 50-70 MHz bandwidth.  I would like to generate 8 carriers starting from 1.1 GHz   and spaced of 100 MHz , something like Carrier 1= 1.1 GHz, Carrier 2 =1.2 GHz .... Carrier 8 1.8 GHz.  The range 1 .1 to 1.8 GHz is just an indication, could be shifted to 2.1  to 2.8 GHz or whatever. Just avoid 2nd harmonic of carriers .

Any existing RF generator is able to give 8  carriers in a single chip (starting with a single clock)  or 8 RF generators are necessary ?

Going through the data sheet make me lot of confusion.

Thanks for your help

Max
