Thanks for your prompt help Craig. I'd been stuck on that for a couple of days. I added the init code (ezkitBF533_initcode.dxe) and it works fine now. I'm still not sure why the init code file wasn't needed on the EZ-KIT when i was using the same code but that's no matter. My application is now running and I can continue the development.
