I'm missing a step in the documentation I think.
It appears (even though some of the pages don't have linux as an option for the VC707) that it is since the reference designs runs a linux kernel I should be able to get it up and running as well, correct? But there is no check for VC707 on "Linux Software" at AD-FMCOMMS2/3/4/5-EBZ Quick Start Guides [Analog Devices Wiki] - does that need to be updated?
Following steps:
1- I do my own vhdl build following from the latest git repo- ADI Reference Designs HDL User Guide [Analog Devices Wiki]
2- But when I go to follow AD-FMCOMMS2-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS5-EBZ Linux support [Analog Devices Wiki] I'm a bit stuck - I try to follow http://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/linux-drivers/iio-transceiver/ad9361
but basically where is how to get the linux kernel compiled on the microBlaze, I guess using SDK?
do I have to do a baremetal - no-OS install first following AD9361 No-OS Software [Analog Devices Wiki] ...
Thanks!
