Hi Mike, I can not open the link you included at this moment, got an "oops, something went wrong..". Are you asking if you can enable the RTS and CTS flow control though? You can take the BF527 board code and schematics as reference to implement the same function for BF518, take ADI BF527 ezkit board for example, you can see from both the code and hardware schematics that GPIO_PF9 and GPIO_PF10 is used as CTS and RTS PIN, grep "CONFIG_BFIN_UART1_CTSRTS" in the source code you will find how it works in the driver code.
