We had recently procured FMCOMMS4 board for wide band applications. While testing it was observed that the till 4GHz center frequency the max hardware gain can be set as 71db and if i configure above 4GHz center frequency then max hard ware gain automatically it is changing to 62db.
why can't i configure 71db at above 4GHz center frequency?
We used IIO oscilloscope as the reference tried to set the gain of what i mentioned.
