I'm using AD5755 in one of my latest designs. The DAC is not asserting the fault line in current mode while open circuited. whereas the same channels of same DAC will assert the FAULT line in voltage mode while short circuited. The POC pin is pulled low using a 10K resistor to ground and the DAC mode of operation is in 0-24mA. We already have spent a lot of time on trouble shooting till now. For information, the status register bits also doesn't get asserted to indicate current fault and as I mentioned before, it works fine in voltage mode. I dont think this is a random case as we have already made more than 3-4 prototype boards and observed the same. I 've found this to be al-right on the AD5755 Evaluation board, but it is having a different vertion of DAC IC, AD5755BCPZ. does this indicate any bug with AD5755ACPZ?? Please help me resolve this.
