I'm working on a feasibility study currently using the EVAL-ADAU1401AEBZ and studio 3.10 and using the white noise source.
The project calls for a long (10s of hours) period before the white noise source repeats.
Does anyone have insight into the repetition period of the white noise algorithm?
I have read various responses which suggest that (a) it is truly random (and therefore has no inherent repeat period) and (b) each instance of the algorithm has the same, exact output sequence when initialised - which suggests that there will be a definite repetition period. Of course, I may have misunderstood!

Has anyone established the precise nature of the algorithm with significant confidence? e.g. PRBS output from shift register with feedback or digital conversion from from some hardware (analog) noise source? (I doubt the latter, since there is a seeded version of the algorithm).
Is there additional detailed documentation available? I haven't found anything so far.
Grateful for any practical, tested insight.
