What kind of functions are you looking to generate? Most of our higher speed DDS parts are only meant to output sine waves or cosine waves and modulate the frequency, phase, and amplitude of those. They do not have an easy method for outputting triangle waves, square waves, or any other waveform like some of our lower frequency DDS parts can. It may theoretically be possible to do if you set the output frequency to 0Hz and then use the phase offset register to change the output in a desired pattern. If you do this with the AD9910, though, the update rate of the output will be reduced to 250MHz even with a 1GHz system clock, so theoretically your highest output frequency would be 125MHz.
