I appreciate that feedback. I plan to update the FAQ to address your question, but will also provide the information here. Here is a new bullet I plan to add to the FAQ:
- Much higher sample rate support for all current ADIS16xxx products
- ADISUSB = ~2000SPS
- EVAL-ADIS = ~29,4000 SPS (~15x higher)
NOTE: EVAL-ADIS software packages provide SCLK rate control, which can increase sample rate (ADISUSB does not have this)
The ADISUSB will definitely provide some service for evaluating the ADIS16362 but the incoherent data capture is a limitation for any application that needs to manage sample delay and the 2000 SPS rate limits data collection to three registers at the maximum sample rate for the ADIS16362.
