Re: AD7699, Temperature measurement

The difference between 1.0 and 0.75 is not too bad for a value-added feature, I agree. But what the other 2 users and I are seeing is that the 1.0 on the data sheet is more like 0.1. I would believe 0.5 as process variation, but 0.1?

 

The 10 ppm/C internal reference doesn't seem to be an issue, a Vref change of 100 ppm would only change the measured temp by 0.03 deg C.

 

The tolerance of the internal ref doesn't seem to be an issue, the full tolerance only would change the measured temp by 0.75 deg.

 

I'm not asking for calibration. For use with the internal reference, I'm asking for either (a) a better explanation of why the slope is off by 10x from the data sheet, (b) a better number for "typical" slope.
